Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to provide remote/virtual physical therapy services to school-aged students. This position is ideal for a PT who enjoys working with children and collaborating with school teams while having the flexibility of working from home.
Position Details
• Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
• Setting: School-Based / Teletherapy
• Location: 100% Remote
• Schedule: Part-time or full-time, depending on caseload
• Employment Type: W-2 or 1099, depending on assignment
• Compensation: $53-$62 per hour.
• Part Time Position: 5-10 hours per week.
Responsibilities
• Provide virtual physical therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs.
• Conduct evaluations and assessments as appropriate.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Complete progress reports, documentation, and other required school records.
• Participate virtually in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, special education staff, and other related-service providers.
• Monitor student progress and make recommendations regarding accommodations, equipment, positioning, and school-based mobility needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements.
Qualifications
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the state where services will be provided.
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
• Teletherapy experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Reliable computer, high-speed internet connection, and appropriate private workspace.
