Job Description

Role: The Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients to maximize their functional ability, following state practice standards. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide preventive, wellness, and therapeutic services.

Responsibilities: Conducts comprehensive patient assessments, develops individualized care plans, performs appropriate treatments, and monitors progress through reexaminations. Educates patients and families, documents care accurately, and adjusts interventions as needed. Coordinates with support staff and other departments to ensure quality care and safety.

Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, NY State licensure, and at least one year of supervised clinical experience. A DPT or Master’s degree is preferred.
