Job Summary

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a vital role in the administration of nuclear imaging procedures, utilizing diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards in patient care while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct quality nuclear medicine imaging examinations across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
• Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals under a physician’s guidance.
• Utilize radiation-detecting equipment to perform imaging procedures and explain these procedures to patients.
• Implement radiation safety standards and monitor patient condition throughout imaging.
• Gather patient information, analyze data, and produce quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• If required, be trained to perform PET/CT scans, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of all related processes.

Qualifications
• Completed an educational and clinical experience program accepted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or graduated from an AMA-accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• Certified as a CNMT or NMTBC.
• One year of experience as a staff radiologic technologist preferred; no experience needed for formal Nuclear Medicine program graduates.
• Thorough understanding of diagnostic radiographic principles, including film processing, quality control, and radiation safety.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
