The selected candidate will work in our Advanced Materials and Energetics group.

Experience with conducting laboratory work as well as searching technical literature is required.

The candidate will be expected to conduct laboratory experimentation, data compilation, and literature searches under the guidance of a senior scientist.

Daily work activities may include testing, analysis, and documentation.

This is a full-time position.


Compiling and analyzing design and test data to prepare product, process, or materials specifications.

Develop, construct, and execute laboratory experiments.

Assists in the interpretation of results and composing sections of technical reports.

Completes assigned project work within schedule and budget constraints.

Conducts basic engineering analysis of data collected.

Performs structured work assignments.


B.S. degree in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or similar

0-2 years of relevant work experience

Candidate may be requested to submit to a background check for obtaining clearances for classified government projects.

Good laboratory and documentation skills

Excellent communications skills


Develop and contextually present information from numerous technical resources to support research objectives.

Research experience, from previous internship or employment

Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, and follow instructions.

Experience in engineering model development.
