Job Description

Join our team as an Industrial Maintenance Technician - Millwright!

We are seeking motivated individuals to repair and maintain industrial equipment including conveying systems and major machine centers like debarkers, canters, gang saws, and edgers. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career with a leading company in the wood products industry.

Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain various industrial machinery.
• Read and interpret drawings and printed instructions effectively.
• Work autonomously and safely in high-pressure situations.
• Understand line-ups for pumps, sheaves, sprockets, and machine centers.
• Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Adjust tension on nuts and bolts and set specified clearances using measuring instruments.
• Align machines and equipment using appropriate tools.
• Assemble and install equipment utilizing both hand and power tools.
• Lay out mounting holes and drill them accurately.
• Replace defective machine parts and adjust clearances and alignments as needed.
• Level bedplate and establish centerline with precision tools.
• Dismantle machines as needed for repair.
• Attach moving parts and assemble subunits using tools.

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have own basic tools.
• Safety-oriented and compliant with ZES regulations.
• Minimum of two years verifiable work experience as a Millwright.
• Welding experience (GMAW and/or SMAW) is required.
• Experience with cutting torches (Oxygen/Acetylene) preferred.
• Ability to work night or day shifts as needed.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, reference check, and background check.
