Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Boiler Tube Welder to join our dynamic team at a Waste-to-Energy Facility. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding and repair work on boiler tubes within high-pressure steam boilers and industrial equipment. Responsibilities
• Perform precise welding and tube repairs on high-pressure steam boilers and industrial boilers using various welding techniques such as GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding), SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), and GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding).
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and boiler system diagrams to accurately identify repair needs and execute maintenance tasks.
• Conduct thorough inspections of boiler tubes and related mechanical components to detect corrosion, cracks, or other damage requiring attention.
• Assist in the disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of boiler components during maintenance or repair projects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues related to boiler mechanics, hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and building automation systems.
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities in compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
• Support preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan through proactive welding repairs and mechanical troubleshooting.

Requirements
• Proven experience as a Boiler Tube Welder or industrial mechanic with a strong background in welding high-pressure boiler tubes within waste-to-energy or industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting documents related to boiler systems.
• Skilled in various welding techniques including GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, with certifications preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge of industrial boilers, high-pressure steam systems, HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, and building automation systems.
• Ability to perform mechanical systems repair and troubleshooting on complex industrial equipment efficiently.
• Experience working with industrial equipment such as boilers, pumps, valves, piping systems, and related machinery.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to high-pressure steam boilers and industrial maintenance environments.
• Excellent customer service skills for coordinating with field service teams and supporting operational needs.
