What You'll Do

Learn & Develop Your Trade Skills:

• Assist Journeymen and Foremen with commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Learn proper plumbing installation techniques and industry best practices.
• Develop the ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Learn pipe layout, fitting, installation, and other essential plumbing skills.
• Develop proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment.
• Participate in on-the-job training and classroom instruction designed to help you progress toward Journeyman credentials.

Job-Site Support

• Assist with moving and organizing materials and equipment.
• Prepare work areas and ensure materials are readily available for the crew.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Properly care for tools and equipment.
• Follow direction from Journeymen and Foremen.
• Support the crew in completing projects safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.

Safety & Professional Development

• Follow all company and job-site safety policies and procedures.
• Learn and apply safe work practices.
• Maintain a strong safety-first mindset.
• Ask questions, accept coaching, and continuously develop your skills.
• Take pride in your work and contribute positively to the team.

Required Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Genuine interest in learning and building a career in the commercial plumbing/pipefitting trade.
• Willingness to learn new skills and accept direction from experienced tradespeople.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and a willingness to learn proper tool usage.
• Physical ability and stamina to perform hands-on work in a construction environment.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to travel to commercial job sites throughout Central Ohio.
• Willingness to work overtime and extended on-site hours when project requirements dictate.
• Previous plumbing or construction experience is helpful but not required.
